To enhance academic excellence, skill development, and social responsibility, our college has established meaningful collaborations and signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with a range of organizations and institutions. These partnerships aim to broaden the learning horizon of our students, connect them with real-world practices, and create a positive impact on the community.

1. ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) – Add-On Courses

Our college collaborates with ASAP Kerala, a Government of Kerala initiative, to offer certified Add-on Skill Development Courses that improve employability and future-readiness. These programs equip students with domain-specific skills and soft skills essential in the modern workforce.

Objectives:

  • Enhance students’ job-oriented skills.
  • Provide government-recognized certifications.
  • Integrate professional skill training into teacher education.

2. MILES – Moopen Institutes for Local Empowerment

This partnership enables our institution to actively participate in community empowerment through outreach programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns involving students and faculty.

Objectives:

  • Strengthen community engagement and social accountability.
  • Conduct training sessions for local youth and women.
  • Promote inclusive growth through education and skill sharing.

3. Schools in Tirur, Malappuram & Tirurangadi

Our long-standing MOUs with schools across these districts ensure smooth conduct of teaching practice, field visits, surveys, and awareness programmes.

4. M.A. Moopen School for Special Needs

This collaboration allows pre-service teachers to engage with inclusive education and special pedagogy through visits, activities, and training with the support of special educators.

Objectives:

  • Promote inclusive practices in teacher training.
  • Create awareness about the diverse needs of learners.
  • Build empathy and professional skills to work with children with disabilities.

5. Energy Palliative & V-Care Palliative

Through these partnerships, our students actively engage in pain and palliative care initiatives, home visits, awareness camps, and volunteer drives.

Objectives:

  • Sensitize future educators to community health and social care.
  • Engage in palliative home visits and volunteer programs.
  • Build socially responsible teacher leaders.
