  • Bafakhy Yatheem Khana B.Ed. Training College was established in 2004 under the aegis of the Tirur Taluk Sunni Orphanage Committee Society, a charitable organization with over 50 years of dedicated service in the fields of education and social upliftment. The Society was founded under the visionary leadership of Shaikuna Chappanangadi Bappu Musliyar, a pioneer in Islamic education and reform, along with the support of two eminent personalities Bafakhy Thangal, known for his unwavering commitment to educational advancement, and Panakkad P.M.S.A. Pookoya Thangal, who played a significant role in shaping the moral and academic vision of the institution. Over the years, the Committee has grown into a prominent educational body, managing more than twelve institutions that cater to thousands of students from various backgrounds. Under the dynamic leadership of Sayyid Sadikali Shihab Thangal Panakkad, the current President of the Committee, the institution has witnessed continuous growth in quality and outreach. The college was granted NCTE recognition in 2005–06 for a one-year B.Ed. course, which was later upgraded to a two-year programme in 2015–16, in line with the national curriculum reforms, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey.

  • Bafakhy Yatheem Khana B.Ed. Training College, located in the serene and green surroundings of Kalpakanchery, serves as the teacher education wing of a vibrant and socially committed educational ecosystem. Approved by the Government of Kerala, recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and affiliated to the University of Calicut, the college adheres strictly to academic and examination norms. It offers a two-year B.Ed. programme with an annual intake of 50 students, providing specializations in English, Mathematics, Physical Science, and Social Science. The college actively promotes holistic development through various community outreach and social responsibility programmes such as the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club (RRC), Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP), and extension activities in nearby schools. Initiatives like social campaigns, health awareness drives, and environmental projects reflect the college’s deep-rooted values of equity, compassion, discipline, and moral integrity.
