Introduction
The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is a visionary initiative by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the
National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It ensures flexibility, transparency, and lifelong learning in the Indian higher education system.
Every B.Ed. student in our institution is encouraged to register for an ABC Account, which serves as a digital repository of their academic credits.
What is an ABC Account?
An ABC Account is a unique academic ID linked to a student’s DigiLocker account. It allows seamless storage, transfer, and
accumulation of academic credits across UGC-recognized institutions.
Our institution actively supports students in registering and maintaining ABC Accounts to ensure national-level alignment, academic mobility, and transparency.
